First Roadtrip..

Well, we survived our first road trip with Abby. She even slept through the night when we were gone visiting. Of course, she stopped that as soon as we got home again! Caleb came down with a mild case of croup again the first day we were gone, but that quickly went away. Now we gear up for a full month of crazy-busy times! This weekend, Abby and I are going to a baby shower in Rockford while the boys stay here. Then, Abby makes her debut in the Christmas Cantata at church on Sunday. Anybody want to take bets on whether or not she cries the whole time? Hehe...we'll have to see. Oh...and I have to brag...I'm almost completely done with Christmas shopping! Yahoo! And...no I didn't do it all online either.

Another week flown by!

Well, yet another week has flown by and we don't have any big updates. I, of course, have been taking pictures, and thought I'd put more on here. Caleb is really starting to enjoy Abby, I think. He asks to see her when he gets up in the morning (after he asks for Daddy, of course!!) He loves to just look at her and likes to get close when she has her tummy time. We've been pretty active outside the house. We get together with a friend of ours, one of Caleb's official first friends, the library has a TON of things for the kids, and we go to a play group at church. And...Caleb still loves to terrorize the dog!

Weekly update...

Well, I had said I would try to give updates every week. We don't have much news, but I thought I'd share some more pictures. Our friends took some family pictures for us at the park. You see, We haven't been able to get Caleb's two-year pictures, he throws a fit if we go to the photo place. He did much better with people that he knew!

Halloween...

Well, we got costumes...Caleb wore most of his costume. He was Bob the Builder, you see. And, up until the day of Halloween, he'd wear the hard hat. He never would put on the tool belt, but he loved the toys. As you can see in the pics, I at least had them in the vicinity of him. I also could not, for the life of me, get him to sit next to his sister for a picture of them both in their costumes. Abby cooperated wonderfully for her pictures, the perfect pea if I must say so myself! Of course, most newborns sleep all the time anyway, so I just had to catch her when she was sleepy. Caleb and Brent went trick-or-treating, and Caleb was scared to death of going up to people's houses. Most of them came out to him. After he got back to our house, he would say "Trick or treat, get some candy?"

And of course, this was just cute, so I had to add it!
